Musician Ayat has released a remix to his breakthrough song ‘I Don’t Know You’ (IDKY) from one of the best acts in Ghana, Edem.
IDKY carries an enchanting trap influence and touches on the issue of fake friends who come around when success comes.

Released in 2015, the KaySo produced tune now has a verse from Edem, whose Ewe delivered bars complement the message of the song. KaySo adds a bridge to the song. Aside these, the original verses by Ayat and KaySo are however kept.
IDKY carries a motivational theme as well. Ayat talks about how he’s working hard to make it in this business. That mentality has been a guiding principle for Ayat throughout his young career.
Indeed, Ayat has been busy since releasing “IDKY”. He has guest featured on songs by some of the top artists in the country like Edem and EL.
In March, Ayat released his EP, “Zamani” which had songs like “Iron Boy”, “Antashimusu” and “Play For Keeps” to great reception. In 2017, he embarked on club tours in Los Angeles, California. He also received verses from Sarkodie (on Dodo) and M.anifest (on Kudi).
