Multiple award winning Ghanaian high life singer Bisa Kdei just made a statement as to why he more than ever deserved the Artist of the year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Despite not winning the ultimate and sweeping four prestigious ones including Album of the year, the Mansa and Brother Brother hit maker who will not rest on his laurels kicked off his UK Tour with a sold out concert at the Camden Center in London.
According to managers of the centre, this is the first time the centre has had a concert with its ticket being sold out prior to the show.
“Apparently, they had to turn away people who wished to attend the event on the night as the venue was packed to capacity. It was also interesting to note that people had traveled from Manchester to witness the show ahead of theirs”, his manager stated.
This is the first of Bisa Kdei’s UK tour. His next stop will be Manchester where it is estimated to be bigger than already experienced in Camden.
Ahead of the Camden show, Bisa Kdei and his business manager, Jay Foley paid a courtesy call on Togolese football international Emmanuel S. Adebayor.
