To many Ghanaians, Ignite Media Group, owners of Metro TV were happy to announce their new addition to the team when they took to Twitter to make the announcement.

Bridget Otoo couldn’t be much happier as she also thanked the management and promised to give her best.
However, according to unconfirmed reports, her contract has been terminated within 24 hours shortly after she was employed.
It has been speculated that a new directive came in from the ruling party due to her unstaunched association with the opposition party.
There’s yet to be any official statement confirming the incident from both parties.
UPDATE: Contrary to the news, Bridget has not been fired. She broadcasted news today at 7 – 9pm.
