Cassper Nyovest has delivered a huge blow to his fans who were looking forward to seeing the rapper sharing the stage with American based Canadian musician, Drake, after he said that he was not interested in being a curtain-raising act anymore.
According to the artist’s statements on social media, it is seemingly obvious that he is not keen to ‘open doors’ for the US-based rapper.
Quizzed on microblogging site, Twitter, whether or not he was going to the opening act for Drake in March during the American artist’s South African tour, Casper Nyovest said that being an opening act when he himself had the capacity sell out venues no longer excited him.
I'm no longer excited about opening for any international acts in SA because i sell out the venues myself but collaboratong with him would be a dream come true. DRIZZY A SUPERSTAR FOREAL!!!! https://t.co/W3uTlXvkIo

However, it is not yet clear who the opening act for the American star will be or when the tickets will go on sale. The question on who will be the opening act has since sparked massive debate. One lucky fan got a response from Cassper Nyovest and to his disappointment, it was not the answer he was looking for.
