On May 8 2019, South Africans headed to the polls after which the sitting President Cyril Ramaphosa took time out of his busy schedule to have video chats with AKA, DJ Tira and Bonang Metheba.
But President Cyril Ramaphosa took his election campaign to new levels, when he contacted three A-list celebs, AKA, DJ Tira and Bonang Matheba, on Instagram calls to personally chat to them about them voting yesterday.
Cyril Ramaphosa contacted Super Mega, AKA, to find out whether he had cast his vote already for the 2019 South African National Elections. AKA was very humbled by the call and showed off his sweeter side on the call.
AKA thanked the President for all the work he has done for the country and encouraged others to vote too. While on the Instagram call, AKA, also asked uBaba to hold the line so he could introduce his woman to him, and out popped DJ Zinhle, who also said she had been to the voting stations earlier and cast her vote. Look, the president’s campaigning is on point, knowing the number of social media followers that both AKA and DJ Zinhe have.
