Anokye Supremo, Daddy Lumba doppelgänger, is suffering from blurred vision due to a tumor in his head.

Anokye Supremo, mentioned that he has lost his sight in the left eye.

He told CitiNewsRoom in an interview that the it begun with a severe headache over a month ago.

“It started in October and I thought it was a migraine. I went to the hospital and was told I had a tumor in my head which has caused an enlargement in my left eye,” he mentioned.

He was scheduled for an MRI test which he should have done by now. He has been informed by his doctors that it would cost roughly Gh¢10, 000 to surgically tackle the tumour.

According to him, he has been experiencing serious pain and has been indoors for the past three weeks. He says he gets no relief from the pain even though he has been given some analgesics.

“I can’t see with my left eye. It is gradually bulging out of the eye socket. I am really suffering. For about 3 weeks now, I have been indoors,” he said.

Anokye Supremo (formerly known as DL Junior) was discovered in 2010 in ‘Just Like You’, a reality TV show which gave artistes the platform to mimic their favourite celebrities. On that show, he imitated Daddy Lumba.

Some time after the show, Anokye, Daddy Lumba’s doppelgänger, has been plying his trade as a musician.

He mentioned that he had to change his name from DL Junior to Anokye Supremo since he was sued earlier this year by highlife artiste Daddy Lumba. He (Daddy Lumba) ordered him to stop using his name and stop singing his songs at programmes.

Anokye Supremo is famous for song titles: Befa Me, Efri Nea Efire, Hye Wo Ho Den, Krom Aye De, and Hash Wuish.
