Sarkodie is gradually being reckoned to ‘ghost’ his colleague musicians after several reports of him ignoring people’s calls and messages. Dee Moneey is the latest victim.
Many Ghanaian artists are not taking it likely after several attempts to reach the BET-winner. The recent complain came from Edem. He complained bitterly after the latter didn’t show up for a music video shoot for a song they collaborated on.
Several media personalities have come out to condemn the actions of Sarkodie. The rapper in a radio interview, disclosed that he has been preoccupied so much that he’s been incapacitated to even pick up his mother’s call.
Blakk Rasta, Counsellor Lutterodt among other personalities have gone on air to lambast Sarkodie’s action saying, he’s too pompous and arrogant.
In 2017, Nigerian star singer Yemi Alade also accused Sarkodie as being “unfair”, “unkind” and not turning up for their video shoot.
It looks like Edem may not be the only recent victim to Sark’s ‘ghosting’. Dee Moneey in the latest tweet has called Sarkodie out for not responding to his messages on WhatsApp.
His tweet follows shortly after he quoted Sarkodie’s tweet to South African rapper Cassper Nyovest. In the tweet, Sark posted a screenshot of his WhatsApp message including voicenotes to Cassper Nyovest.
Dee Moneey said, “Ah so your Whatsap dey work? Cool.”
Among other artists who have complained about his unprofessionalism includes Kwaw Kese, Sherifa Gunu, Freddy Meiway and more.
