We wanted to brand Ebony as the Tiwa Savage of Ghana – Abeiku Santana
Member of Ebony’s management team, Abeiku Santana has disclosed how they had plans of branding the late artist as the ‘Tiwa Savage of Ghana’.
The ace radio personality said this during an interview on Showbiz A To Z on Joy FM.
‘Our plan was to brand her as the Tiwa (Savage) of Ghana in terms of visibility in 2018’, he indicated. ‘Her current brand was meant to grab attention which she succeeded in doing. Ebony was killed in a car crash on Thursday 8th February whiles returning from a trip in Sunyani after visiting her mum and other family relations. She died along two others; her friend Franky Kuri and Atsu Vondee, a soldier who travelled with them. The driver of the mangled Jeep they were traveling with survived. Her death came exactly a week shy of her 21st birthday.
Commenting on the numerous claims by some pastors about prophesying her death, Abeiku Santana confirmed one pastor contacted him about a prophecy.
‘I was contacted by Prophet Owusu-Bempah who requested a meeting with Ebony. I gave his number to her manager and they went to see him’.
