Ghanaians are remembering Suzzy Williams on this day, as it marks her 16th year anniversary since she passed away.
The fast rising actress at the time died on 8 September, 2005, in a car crash. A recent and similar event which most millenials will remember is, Ebony Reigns.
Suzzy Williams, as an actress, was in her prime – she acted in Tentacles, Calamity, A Stab In The Dark and more.
She was introduced to the main screen through “Together Forever,” an African hit film, screeplayed by US-based Ghanaian filmmaker Leila Djansi.
She was the screen goddess at the time; Suzzy Williams was even cameo featured in VIP‘s “Ahomka Womu” music video.
Her demise really hit a lot of Ghanaians and there was a nationwide grieve. She was 23 when she died in a car crash at Labadi, on the La – Nungua highway.
Four (4) months before her demise, another famous actor Kwame Owusu-Ansah had also died in a similar motor accident. He died on 2 May, 2008.
