If ever you were looking for an example of from zero to hundred look no further than Zylofon Media. Out of nowhere they came and made their presence felt. They have gone on to make their presence felt everywhere be it television be it radio be it social media, they are everywhere.

Their presence is even magnified by the calibre of celebrities and artistes they have signed on. The likes of Zynell Zuh have all joined the media conglomerate that is Zylofon Media. But arguably where they have their presence felt the most happens to be the music industry going to sign artistes such as Kumi Guitar and Becca as well as Joyce Blessing. The coup de grace though came in two folds, when they signed Stonebwoy and went on to sign Shatta Wale a couple of months later, the Zylofon machine is in full swing doing its thing.

It seems like everyone is jumping onto the Zylofon Media ship. All the big boys and girls in the entertainment industry suddenly had their names being mentioned in the same sentence with the media house. Every A-lister was viewed as a potential Zylofon Media signing. The likes of Jackie Appiah all serve as brand ambassadors for Menzgold, also owned by the Zylofon Media head honcho Nana Appiah Mensah. Thus it was not as surprise when word starting emanating from various quarters that Sarkodie could be on his way to Zylofon as well. That though for now is hardly the case per the word from the Sarkcess Music leader himself as he stated categorically that he will not be pitching up his tent on Zylofon land anytime soon.

Speaking to KOD on ‘The Zone’ on Starr FM Friday, Sarkodie said even though he respects and appreciates the contribution of Zylofon to the Ghanaian music industry, he is not joining them. “I think Zylofon is doing so well for the industry, and I respect what they are doing for the industry. For people to say I am going to Zylofon is more like an April fool prank,” he said.

Zylofon Media for their part have not expressed any interest publicly in signing Sarkodie but what goes on behind closed doors is information I am not privy to. As to whether they have been discussions of sort behind closed doors, your guess is as good as mine.
