Kevin-Prince Boateng’s Brother, Jerome found Guilty of Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend

Former Black Star’s player Kevin-Prince Boateng‘s brother, Jerome Boateng, has been found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend by a German court.

Jerome Baoteng is the younger half-brother of Kevin Prince Boateng; he stood in court on Thursday where he was pronounced guilty in a 2018 incident where he assaulted Sherin Senler, the mother of his two daughters.

He’s been ordered by a court in Munich to pay a hefty fine of 1.8 million euros ($2 million) after wilfully causing bodily harm to his ex-girlfriend three (3) years ago.

The incident occured during a Carribean holiday in 2018. He punched her, pulled her hair, bitten her on the head, causing her to lose her breath for a moment; the court heard.

Tension had occured during a game of cards and argument broke out, Jerome Boateng admitted. He said, she became aggresive, insulting and hitting him which injured his lips. While an effort to set himself free, he pushed her away.

He could face up to five (5) in jail under Germany’s domestic violence laws.

Earlier in February, 2021, the 33-year-old world-cup winning defender’s girlfriend Lenhardt who he had recently split with, committed suicide in an apartment in Berlin.
