Lynx signee Kuami Eugene has been accused on social media for allegedly stealing ‘Confusion’ from Malian singer Sidiki Diabaté.
The latest single ‘Confusion’ by ‘Angela’ hit-maker has been criticised by many fans on social media as pure music plagiarism.

It’s also quiet coincidental that both songs carry similar meanings. Also, in Sidiki’s video, he was convincing his lover to trust and stay with him while in Kuami Eugene‘s own, he was telling “Ahuofe Patri” to give no way to external pressure.
The song titled “Fais moi confiance” by Sidiki was released January 2016 and the video has over 10 million views on YouTube (at the time of publish).
Sidiki comes from a family of griots and is also the son of Grammy Award winner Toumani Diabate.
