A 13-year-old and 16-year-old become the heroes of the day after they both rescued a man who nearly drowned in a flood in Kumasi.Praises are being rained on two teens after they boldly risked their lives to save a taxi driver who nearly met his demise.
The incident occured at Ohwin, a suburb in Kumasi where after a torrential rainfall, turned a fluvial flood into a deadly avenue. A taxi driver in his late 50s was caught up in the disaster after his car was submerged in the flood.
In a video which has surfaced online, the driver could seen standing atop his eroded car. He then makes a jump for the banks but unfortunately he’s swept away by the flood.
Israel Ackah and Chrisman Antwi; 13 years and 16 years respectively, therefore made ran along the banks to fetch the taxi driver.
There’s was no major casualty as both teens and the taxi drivers are safe.
