Reginald Osei, popularly known as Reggie Rockstone might have started Hip-life in the 90s though many reference it to Gyedu Blay Ambolley.
Reggie Rockstone‘s “Makaa Maka” (first album) was dropped in 1997. Ambolley released his first record in 1973 which leaves him not only the first rapper from Ghana but across the world.
