The loving son of Mother Ghana Okyeame Kwame is set to launch his new album titled ‘Made In Ghana’ on July 1, 2018.
Mr. Versatile plans to launch the album on arguably the most important day to Ghana, aside Independence Day of course. Who knows the target was probably to release it on March 6 but the album was not done by then. The rapper also took the chance to explain why his frequent absence from the music industry.

He cited the fact that he is a daddy now and thus he has other responsibilities and putting yourself in his shoes you would also make the same decision to place family first ahead of anything. In an interview with the BEATWAVES, he hinted that “my absence from recording and releasing music has been due to a lot of things, paramount of it is that I’m a daddy now.”
“For me music is not a product but a piece of art and an expression of my soul, so I give it out when I feel it, so most times a lot of musicians feel pressured when they are not releasing music, but for me until I’m confident enough to give you something that would blow you away or inspire you, I wouldn’t put out anything,” Okyeame Kwame revealed.

He added, “On this album, I did collaboration with Sizzla Kalonji, Kuami Eugene, KiDi and Bradez and Didi Awade from Senegal among many others and the genre of the music is purely highlife.” Highlife releases are few and far between these days but Mr. Versatile wants to kickstart a change in that regard. The album is ensure to be one of critical acclaim. Aside that the music is going to be of the highest order, that we can guarantee after all Okyeame Kwame does not do substandard.
