Gifty Osei also known as “Empress One”, a Ghanaian gospel musician disclosed that she has never received any royalties from the Ghana Musician Rights Organisation (GHAMRO).
Speaking to Kojo Preko Dankwa , host of K-Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5 fm, the ‘Aseda’ hitmaker said she is a registered member of the association but has never received a pesewa from them.

Concern from some other musicians were raised recently as Ghana’s Dance hall artiste Shatta wale recently composed a song to express his disappointment in the Organization.
Gifty Osei also noted that the organisation needs to improve on their systems and policies.

“Empress One” is currently promoting her latest video which she said cost approximately $500 and was directed by Kofi Okyeame.
