Ghanaian music by default are so catchy, our songs have always had groovy beats and lyrics to match. It is not a recent thing. Our music is so catchy that sometimes you’re just there and they start playing in your head then before you know it you are singing it out loud unintentionally. Our music has that vibe about it. Unfortunately for Kwesi Arthur he found out at the wrong place as he mistakenly sang VIP’s Ahomka Wom at church.

“The only time I tried to sing in church, I messed up so bad. I went to do a VIP song and it got me into trouble. I had to call my mum and stuff. I regret it,” he said.
Speaking to Jessica Opare-Saforo on Citi 97.3 FM, he recounted that the issue happened when the Sunday School children after church service one day, went to play the musical instruments. He picked the microphone and started singing VIP’s ‘Ahomka Wom.’He added that he was really scolded by the members of the church after which his mother gave him a few strokes.
