King Sark, as he is called by some of his fans; Sarkodie is celebrating life in his latest video titled, “Rollies and Cigars”.
Just as he revealed in the album; it is about growth, adaptation and most importantly celebration of success. Sarkodie pulls up in a Rolls Royce – luxurious, but a social status of wealth and independence.
The latest music video “Rollies and Cigars” was directed by Yaw Skyface and the song produced by Kayso. The song is a single off his brand new album “No Pressure” – one may say, it’s quite rhetorical judging by the title, or we could say it’s ambigious.
The lifestyle and the display of wealth is actually giving some of us the pressure or it could mean a leverage lifted off the rapper and he’s no more feeling any of it as compared to his past.
At the beginning of the video, Sarkodie discredits smoking of cigarettes or tobacco. This is because he was met with a heavy backlash after his association with cigars – a major campaign peripheral denoting wealth in “No Pressure”.
