Ghanaian born British actor Peter Mensah is in Ghana to pay his last respect and observe the final funeral rights of his late father.

Spartacus Star Visits Homeland Ghana

The Spartacus star arrived unannounced in the country on the hindsight of the media. His dad, Mr Peter Osei Mensah passed on in November 2017 at a ripe age of 89.

The Ghanaian born British actor was the centre of attraction at the funeral grounds of his late dad. The funeral was held at Star junction, near Santase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He was spotted on a Saturday afternoon, in a in black traditional funeral cloth as he together with some extended family members laid his late father to rest.

His dad was an Engineer by profession. He together with his dad and family had to move to the United Kingdom when Peter Junior was at a tender age. Peter Mensah (Junior) is one of the most popular British actors who happens to be of an African descent.

As tradition demands, Peter Mensah had to come home to perform his customary rights and pay his last respect. It is known that Peter Junior himself was an engineer at a point in time even though he finished his course from a movie role-playing school. He being an engineer was a wish his father had. He is known to have worked with the Harambe Bay in the United Kingdom as an engineer. But, however, he(Peter Mensah) still had the ambition of acting at heart.

He starred in movies such as Spartacus, Midnight Texas, The Incredible Hulk, Jason X, Avatar, 300, The Seed  and Havard Man to mention a few.

The late Mr Peter Osei Mensah left behind two daughters and a son.
