Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale spotted with Zylofon entourage at Akwasidae
A man is as good as his word. Simply put, the words of a man must be taken as seriously as possible. The expectation is that we expect people to live by the words they utter.
But the world is not black and white but rather a deep grey, the lines in between as anything else. Human perceptions are a bit more muddled than that.Checkout: Rumours of me joining Zylofon Media is like April fool prank – Sarkodie
When Stonebwoy boldly stated that he was done with his record label Zylofon Media he meant business and we took him seriously. But alarm bells set off when Zylofon took exception to the way the organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Charter House went about booking Stonebwoy for the nominees jam in Cape Coast. Zylofon Media at that point referred to Stonebwoy as their artiste and went to state if anyone sought to book their artistes they ought to be kept in the loop as well.
This whole back and forth would eventually abate. But since the bold declaration of leaving, Stonebwoy has not categorically stated that he is truly done with Zylofon. Whatever be the case, the two parties including Shatta Wale were spotted together in Kumasi as Zylofon Media heeded the Asantehene’s call to attend the Akwasidae festival recently held in the Ashanti Region. The artiste also paid a courtesy call to the Asantehene himself and even dance Adowa in the palace.Click to also watch Pene Mame (feat KiDi) by Tic Tac – video
Ghanaian dancehall act and CEO of Bhim Nation, Livingstone Etse Satekla widely known as Stonebwoy Burniton, over the weekend, paid a courtesy call on the Great King of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. Stonebwoy, at the premises of the Ashanti King, was seen dancing Adowa, a popular dance that is widespread among the Akan people and is performed during funerals and public social events.
At this point it is safe to assume that Stonebwoy is still a part of Zylofon, perhaps he never he left or perhaps he is still working on his departure. We can only patently wait to see how this situation develops.
