Toni Braxton to release new album
One of the most difficult tasks in life is to stay relevant in a given field. Breaking out itself is difficult but ask anybody it is easier to start a race well but it is difficult to finish the race with the speed with which you commenced with.

Keeping up with that, she has decided to release a new album. “Sex & Cigarettes” is the title-track from the vocalist’s upcoming eighth LP, out March 23rd. The record – which follows her 2014 collaborative project with Babyface, “Love, Marriage & Divorce” – is her first solo album since 2010’s Pulse. The new single follows her previously issued tracks “Deadwood” and “Long as I Live“; she also issued a remix EP of “Coping” last fall. In a September interview with The Insider, Braxton spoke about exploring more explicit, adult-oriented content on her upcoming album. “I feel like I’m older and I want to say what I feel,” she said. “I don’t want to be censored.”
The singer who recently confirmed on a teaser of Braxton Family Values that she is engaged. Their relationship spans over seventeen years of platonic friendship from when Toni Braxton appeared on the Cash Money Records boss first solo studio album. The singer herself was mum on the identity of her fiancé. But then again that was not much of a surprise, revealing his identity would kill some of the hype the show is garnering. But her sister Tamar was not as tight-lipped as she revealed that the Cash Money Records boss was there for their family like a typical brother-in-law when their mum went in for her heart surgery. When Birdman himself was asked about Toni Braxton on the Wendy Williams Show, he gushed about her, he could not restrain his words as his heart got the better of him.
Williams attempted to get info from Birdman about his relationship with Toni but Birdman used the opportunity to praise the singer. “That’s my love, my soldier, my life — she’s my everything,” he told the talk show host. “She’s my life — I love her to death.” It has been five years since Toni Braxton got divorced her ex-husband, within that time she has raised her kids made two albums, one upcoming and one which came out in 2014.
