Wizkid is having the thrills after selling out The O2 Arena in 12 minutes! The Grammy award winning star just hit another record and is all thanks to his massive fan-base in the UK.
As part of The O2’s Welcome Back Show series, the Nigerian superstar has been featured to thrill his fans on 28 November, 2021 to a capacity of 20,000.
In spite of the pandemic, fans have been out of touch with Wizkid’s live performances and showmanship. It is only right when his popular tune Essence featuring compatriot Tems has been dubbed a summer hit.
Fans in the UK were eager to know the next fixture for his show when he dropped his tour list for US. Wizkid has got 17 upcoming tours in US only and he’s already sold out the one in Brooklyn, New York for 11 September 2021.
For UK, the only date that was announced for his Made In Lagos tour was 28 November 2021 at The O2 Arena in Greenwich.
Lo and behold, within 12 minutes after the tickets were released, they had been raptured by his fans.
One can only be thrilled just like him especially when things are slowly getting back to normal after the pandemic.
Congrats to Wizkid and his team, and we can’t wait to rock at the show!
